Random Packing

Description

Random Packing provides optimum performance and are available in a wide variety of materials including metal, plastic, or ceramic. Random packings are available in several sizes to suit most industrial applications. They range in size from 6mm to 90mm or larger. When specifying a packing size, capacity and efficiency requirements need to be considered.

Types of random packing :

2.1 Pall ring

Pall ring has larger production capacity, lower pressure drop, larger operation flexibility and higher efficiency. They are available in metal & plastic material.

Thickness: 0.3 – 0.6 mm
MOC: SS316L,SS304, PP, PVDF,PTFE

2.2 Raschig Rings

Raschig rings provide a large surface area within the volume of the column for interaction between liquid and gas vapours.

Thickness: 0.3- 0.6 mm
MOC: SS316L,SS304L, Ceramic,PP

2.3 Intallox Metal Tower Packings

Compared with Pall Ring, IMTP has lower pressure drop, larger flux and higher efficiency.

Thickness: 0.3-0.8 mm
